Founded by Dr. Tom De Coninck, Medaryn is an educational platform bringing emergency medicine insight to the public, and practical tools to healthcare professionals.
What We Do
Most people encounter small medical emergencies with no idea whether to wait it out or rush to hospital. Medaryn closes that gap with content and tools built by a doctor — not a content agency.
An educational guide to how ER doctors think about common medical situations — the patterns, the reasoning, the questions they ask. Not a substitute for a doctor's assessment.
Short-form videos on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok breaking down real emergency scenarios in plain language. No jargon. Just answers.
An AI tool that converts clinical consultation notes into clear, multilingual patient summaries — in under 60 seconds.
How It Works
"I Googled my symptoms and now I think I'm dying. Or maybe it's fine? I genuinely have no idea whether to call anyone."
You understand how ER doctors weigh symptoms, what questions they'd ask, what warning signs they'd take seriously. You're not diagnosing yourself — you're arriving at your GP or the ER with the right vocabulary and the right level of concern.
The Founder
Medaryn is Dr. Tom's platform for emergency medicine education, bridging the gap between front-line emergency medicine and the public's understanding of it.
With over a decade of clinical practice within the Belgian healthcare system and international experience in an Australian Emergency Department, Dr. Tom brings a global perspective to medical education and technology.
Our Mission
Emergency medicine knowledge is locked inside hospitals. Medaryn's mission is to make it accessible — responsibly, accurately, and in a form that actually helps people act.
We're not replacing medical care. We're helping people navigate it better — with less fear and more information.
Two branches, one purpose
Medaryn operates across two areas. Our current focus is lay-person emergency education — reaching the general public through content, guides, and practical tools. Alongside this, we are building a clinical information tool to help doctors generate patient-specific guidance tailored to individual care plans and conditions.
Every piece of content is grounded in current clinical evidence, reviewed through the lens of real emergency practice. No sensationalism.
We use accurate medical terminology in context. We simplify — but never at the cost of precision.
Our resources are built around real questions people have — not abstract facts. We help you understand, not decide for you.
We speak like a knowledgeable colleague — direct, empathetic, professional. No marketing language.
